THE ALCÁZAR OF SEVILLE

The Alcázar of Seville is a royal palace originally developed by Muslim kings in the 14th century. It has the most elaborate tile work, carvings and archways and endless rooms, ponds, a chapel, and the House of Trade where the Treaty of Seville was signed in 1729. There are also some beautiful gardens and orchards that surround it. I spent almost three hours there – there was just so much to look at and learn about in each of the different spaces.
